Remember how excited you were opening a “Lucky Packet” as a child knowing that there was a surprise waiting for you inside. Now this excitement can be rekindled. AMALUCKY was started in 2007 by Matthew Howe when he returned to South Africa having lived in the UK for 6 years.

AMALUCKY is passionate about supporting local communities and small businesses in South Africa and all the contents of the packets are locally made. Most of the bead and wire craft comes from the communities that live in the Valley of 1000 Hills in KwaZuluNatal.

The AMALUCKY logo is based on the “lucky been tree.” Each lucky packet contains seeds from the lucky bean tree which we hope will bring you good fortune.
